Observation details
Brown upper body with spotted breast and belly. It bobbed up and down and flicked tail pretty much constantly. It was feeding along the grassy edge of the waterline beyond the water's edge where the beach should be but flooded and just to the right of the sanderling. It moved back to the water's edge by the parking lot pavement and kept moving to the right as it fed. It would take short flights further to the right as I approached. Photos attached.
