NOTES: 37 songs and one long call of BIRD #4 recorded at 6:48:10; this cut began at 6:37:37 am, after I missed eight songs and one long call changing tape when previous cut (#99-134-01) ended at 6:33:54 am, in part because the bird moved a bit to the east; bird was 40 meters away and high up; moved to the large tree with the single, densely vegetated branch, when now 35-40 meters up overhead; bird was moving around quite a bit this morning; recorded in good, terra firme forest along NW edge of reserve on south side of perimetral road, ca. 300 meters NE of road into the Sooretama Reserve [19¡ 04Õ 22" S, 39¡ 57Õ 06" W]; full, dense overcast; intermittent rain in the early morning hours; calm; 78¡ F. ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatus to Xiphorhynchus guttatus [guttatus Group] to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
