NOTES: 50 songs of BIRD #2 at dawn; recorded in two parts at 5:51:55 and 5:57:10; I missed ten songs getting onto the bird after it began singing at 5:40:31 am; I finally got onto it at 5:43:10 am, when it was 30-35 meters up overhead in a large tree in the area where it normally sang; recorded along the road to the house and the Rio Barra Seca, ca. 300 meters short of Estrada do Gave¿ [19¡ 04Õ 21" S, 39¡, 53Õ 47" W]; the bird moved a short distance at 5:47:20 am, after whihc I missed 11 songs when I tried to get closer; the second part began at 5:55:52 am, with the bird now 30 meters up overhead; the rest of the data for this cut are on its continuation as cut #99-111-01); partly cloudy, calm, 75¡ F (18//23/4//5 Ð single slash indicates movement, double indicates break in tape).
