Observation details
Buffy yellow plover, feeding on insects along the edge of Lake Earl. I count 3 primaries extending beyond the tertials, and the overall golden wash suggests Pacific. EDIT: It was recently pointed out to me on iNaturalist that only the Black-bellied Plover has a hind toe, which is visible in these photos. This rules out either Golded Plover species.
