NOTES: A pair seen 75 m away in tall, dead tree at edge of clearing; seen only as Pyrrhura at the time, but much better later; possibly building a nest; full overcast, intermittent breeze, 83¡ F. ML: Subject changed from Pyrrhura picta to P. amazonum to reflect current taxonomy. -Jay McGowan 29Apr2015. Other Behaviors: Mate. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Edge.
