NOTES: Recorded in three parts at 12:58, 13:24, and 13:29; song, first natural, then after playback of itself; at first, the bird was 15-18 m away and 10-12 m up but it moved higher following playback; when seen, bird was 15-20 m up (often 2/3 up trees) and generally on large trunks; over an army-ant swarm; recorded along loop trail just beyond marker #55; the bird began stringing out trills when it was agitated, and it usually sang relatively quietly; playback response was flying back-and-forth overhead, though it was not overly responsive; partly cloudy, calm, 87-88¡ F.
