NOTES: 30 songs and two long calls of bird #2 recorded in three parts at 5:34, 5:39, and 5:42:12 as a continuation of cut #99-43-06 after missing eight songs when I changed tape and bird moved to tree where it had been singing the previous day and gave a long call, but just as I got onto him it moved back to where it began today; when I got back on him briefly, bird was 45 m away before it returned to second tree, when I was 25-30 m away; in all, bird was high up, 20-60 m from me, and mostly 50-60 m off road to S; giving odd calls at times; moved even further back for middle part of cut (75+ m); recorder turned off at 5:42:12 with bird 50-60 m back to the S; just getting light with a near full moon 40¡ up on horizon; clear to partly cloudy, calm, 76¡ F. ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Ramphastos tucanus cuvieri to Ramphastos tucanus to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
