Media notes
NOTES: Unseen bird began 40 meters away and relatively high up, but it moved back soon after I got onto it; recorded in same spot as the X. guttatus (bird #1) along logging road, ca. 500 meters W of intersection with highway; relatively tall forest that appeared to be either older second-growth or selectively logged; apparently two birds present; just getting light; clear, calm, low 70s. LNS: Previously treated as Dendrocolaptes certhia ridgwayi, which has been synonymized with D. c. concolor. -Matt Medler, 21 Dec 2009. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
