Observation details
Continuing bird found by Ozzie Altus on Sept. 10th. As I walked up to the west side of the library it flew from one juniper tree on the left into the juniper on the right quite low. It then came out onto the ground for several minutes before flying back up into the juniper above eye level. The slim gray thrush provided good clear views. The head was relatively small and it showed a complete white eye-ring. It had a fairly long tail with white outer tail feathers that was visible when it flew. Also, the buff colored wing patch or stripe that was really distinctive when it flew.
