Observation details
Continuing. I was out in the bay fishing and heard a yell from shore at 9:10. I figured the bird had been found. I eventually paddled the 5 minutes to get there. A few distant photos taken from my kayak. I didn’t want to get too close, since multiple observers were watching it from up the shore. It was present until at least noon when I left the area (I circled back this way on the way in). Even after I went back out fishing, I could see others watching it. About 45m north of the Marsh Trail entrance along the edge of the bay. It seemed to catch a frog or large tadpole and several dragonflies while I was there.
