Observation details
Continuing bird that was found yesterday morning. Still in the same general area - about 75 m from the start of the marsh trail, in the willows on the lake side. First record for Canada. Big flycatcher with yellow underparts, white throat, rufous brown wings and tail, white supercilia circle the nape and connect, black cheeks, black crown. The bird’s size, structure, and bill morphology separate it from Lesser Kiskadee. Photos to be added
