NOTES: Bird was unseen at the time, but apparently three to four meters up in scrubby area with a few, larger trees; later seen relatively well using playback (pale-gray eye and full pectoral band), in response to which the bird approached quietly and perched more-or-less in the open about eight meters up; weather conditions same, upper 70s to low 80s. Response to playback: Approach. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Rural, Orchard, Second-growth, Scrub.
