Media notes

NOTES: One song recorded about 6:00 within reserve along road to Jaguar¿ about 150 meters beyond intersection with main road that passes sede (headquarters); bird unfortunately flew off almost as soon as I got onto it; though seen briefly just after cut was made (and exceptionally well not long thereafter), the bird never called again; this was recorded after bird approached from quite some distance in response to my whistled imitation; when recorded, unseen bird was 18-20 meters away and 15-18 meters above ground in second-growth forest along road, with better forest located farther back where bird was first heard; where bird was at the time, the trees were only 15-20 meters tall, with bird about 2/3 up the trees; just getting light, clear, calm, 72¡ F, day after full moon with nearly full moon low on horizon. Response to playback: Approach. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Second-growth.
