NOTES: This cut was recorded approximately kilometer marker 136 1/2 on road to Cucu¿; bird was seen briefly as it flew across the road (when I saw that it was a tiny bird with a short tail); when recorded, bird was about 15 meters away and 8-10 meters up; though bird may have gone quiet in response to playback, there was no other apparent response; I whistled at the bird some before this cut was made; there may have been two birds present; birds were in somewhat scrubby forest showing characters of caatinga or campinarana; wind from south at ca. 10 knots, partly cloudy (though largely clear overhead, still with dense clouds to north and south), low to mid 80s. Number of individuals=UU1-2; Response to playback: No response. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
