NOTES: HHb filters in cut position; attenuators off on both recorder and microphone; Trail O, 100-150 meters N of Principal Trail; apparently a feeding frenzy of parakeets 30-35 meters up in canopy of what may well be a Symphonia tree; unseen at the time, but earlier from the tower I saw flocks of about six Brotogeris and 15-18 Pyrrhura land in a tree in approximately this spot; at edge of small, tree-fall gap; partly cloudy, consistently windy (5-15 knots) in canopy. Subject changed from Pyrrhura perlata to P. lepida by the recordist. -Martha Fischer, 13Sept2005. Number of individuals=UUc15-18;. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Establish Flock Contact, Depart, Arrive, Social Context: Mixed. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Edge.
