NOTES: Agitated songs of same bird as previous cut and recorded previous days (98-RDAT08-35, 98-RDAT09-01); I missed two songs between these two cuts, when the bird switched trees; bird was 45 meters away and 35 meters up in large trees; this apparently represents an interaction between two birds; there was no playback involved; bird was up on hill above igap¿, where it had spent only a short time the previous day; bird was agitated a bit by a second bird that gave one long call during this cut; though the bird had moved only short distances through the majority of the dawn chorus, it moved quite a distance off for the last few songs; clear, calm, 75¡ F. ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Ramphastos tucanus cuvieri to Ramphastos tucanus to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015. ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatoides to Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatoides/dorbignyanus to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
