NOTES: Includes 14 songs, bird began singing when I arrived at 6:19 am; this was recorded in same spot that I recorded a bird the previous season, ca. 1.2 km. out entrance road right where tall second-growth blends into primary terra firme forest; bird was on west side of road, 75-80 meters away on the far side of a small clearing along the road; bird was high up in canopy and back from edge of clearing; the bird really did not sing again after I finished the announcement; clear, with only scattered, high clouds; calm; 75¡ F. ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatoides to Xiphorhynchus guttatus guttatoides/dorbignyanus to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
