Recorded with a MKH 20, 30" fiberglass Roche parabola, and a HHb 1000 Portadat Recorder " HPF@180-SBA 13/11/02 [These represent exclusively the Incipient Locomotory Hesitance Vocalizations (ILHVs) of Smith (1966. Communication and relationships in the genus Tyrannus. Publ. Nuttall Ornith. Cl. 6), or the "Kip" Calls of BNA. Single calls of the kingbird are at 0:05, 0:09, 0:12, 0:14, 0:16, 0:43, and 0:58. Note that the sharper chip notes are those of Sayornis nigricans (e.g., 0:30-0:41). Quality unchanged (3) - CAM - 22 December 2004]. Habitat: Lake.
