Sequence of recording from notebook: there are good clicks at start of tape as soon as hydrophone was placed in the water. Good click train (analyzed with HP5154C-GEH-1984). Whistles and Burst pulse signal (sounds like siren changing pitch) (waterfall display, HP5154C-GEH-1984). Followed by good click trains. Sharp "ping" sound. Click trains fainter. Loud sharp "ping" Loud engine (possibly trawler) noise in background. Click trains. "Wails" (2 "wails") (waterfall display HP5154C - June 7, 1984, DB, GEH). Followed by good loud bursts of clicks. Faint "wail." Faint clicks. Loud clicks. Quiet. Band 2: Ken Norris speaking into hydrophone. Good clicks after hydrophone placed in water. Quiet. "Whistle" faint. Clicks. Silence except for sound of water and other noises. Clicks. Band 3: Ken Norris speaking into hydrophone. clicks. Clicks. Loud pops at infrequent intervals, water sounds only between. Water sounds.
