NOTES: BIRD WAS RECORDED ON THE SOUTH LAWN OF MEMEORIAL PARK. [Five songs and two shorter fragments. Although identified by the recordist as Toxostoma bendirei, based on date and locality alone, it would appear that this instead represents Toxostoma curvirostre. Spectrographic comparison further suggests T. curvirostre based on the lack of strong harmonics in these songs. I changed the identification to reflect these concerns. There is a "cryptic" stop-start at 0:33. Quality changed from 2 to 2-3, 2 (BEST after 0:35 - CAM - 2 November 2005]. Habitat: Park/Campus/Cemetery.
