Observation details
See photos. Juvenile bird, similar to Lesser Yellowlegs but with clear white chest, dark eye patch or "phalarope mark", white underparts, very slender dark bill, yellow legs, and a bit of reddish tinge on throat and neck. Did not spin but was very active foraging, darting here and there. At marsh end with Killdeer. Found yesterday by Martina Nordstrand.
