Observation details
Juvenile with barred tertials. Kevin Lucas has accused me of falsifying this report. What I can be criticized for is misidentifying the SBDO. When I saw the two dowitchers on August 12, I entered two LBDOs in my eBird report. Then, I saw a dowitcher on Aug. 17 that I identified as a SBDO. When I compared photos that I took on Aug. 17 with the photos I took on Aug. 12, I realized one of the Aug. 12 dowitchers was a SBDO, possibly even the same bird that I photographed on Aug. 17. On Aug. 17, I revised this list to include 1 - SBDO and 1 - LBDO and uploaded photos of both birds. An easy explanation that Kevin might have understood if he had asked me about it and wasn't so quick to judgement. But, then, Kevin doesn't concern himself with the facts too often. He prefers to judge and condemn.
