Starts a bit ahead of a surface (to catch complete call). Two complete calls, last was 21 min duration 2 blow periods. Part way in sound stops + animal breaches many times then starts calling again." Any peculiarities: Breaches in first, 2nd was 21 min. duration. Other notes: Tape starts slightly ahead of last blow prior to dive or beginning of the call. Clean sounds - part way in reel animal stops calling, breaches 4-6 times (hear heavy slap as body 1/4 mile away falls flat on surface). Then it starts calling again. There is a hi frequency AC buzz which cannot be eliminated from the A.C. power line at this time. It can be filtered out during analysis. Two complete calls - last was 21 min duration."
