Media notes
Adults tend to have longer bills and tails and do not have the clean white wing bars and feather edgings at this time of summer as do the immatures. Note the black bill quickly eliminates a tanager ID.
Observation details
An immature briefly landed on an electrical cable over the creek. I'm not sure I could eliminate the possibility of Orchard Oriole from this sighting, but I'm sticking with the default species.
