Observation details
A singing male (recording attached) and his mate were both highly agitated while delivering alarm notes (recording attached) from various perches within 3 m of the ground in the sunny, brushy, shrubby, thorny, vine-covered understory of an extensive spruce-pine plantation. Female was also carrying food (insect larvae). Male frequently countersang with Ovenbirds (recording attached) in the vicinity.
