Media notes
Although this recording's sonogram has some similarities to Red-eyed Vireos' songs, it more closely resembles the Philadelphia's song. For example, see xeno-canto's recordings XC189070 by Richard E. Webster (6-15-2014), and the less complex recording, XC70103, by Daniel Lane on 6-28-2006 . In looking at most of the Philadelphia songs in xeno-canto, the separation of the phrases varied from one to two seconds. My recording's phrases are two seconds apart. After listening to the recordings of both PHVI and REVI, I can now appreciate it is to separate the two songs in the field. Please note in my recordings sonogram the "descending twin peaks" seen at :03.5, :06.5, .08, :18.5, :20.5, :22, :24, and :26. The inverted Vs and regular Vs can also be seen the xeno-canto recordings along with the "descending twin peaks" in XC189070. I could not find these common structures in the sonograms in the REVI sonograms.
