NOTES: (Bkground Sounds: Water, waves. Breeding Status: Territorial. Gen. Climate: Humid.) Cut begins at 10:22, ends at 14:03. LNS Note: HP @ 160Hz. MER 10-11-2002. [There are at least two calls represented here, but I could identify only one of them with any confidence -- the Long Call (if not the Landing Call) of BNA (0:12-0:18, 0:32-0:35, 0:37-0:40 - probably the BEST example, 2:35-2:38, 2:46-2:48, 2:50-2:52, 2:56-2:59). The other call, given thoroughout this recording, does not really match anything described in BNA account, but I suspect that it is probably typical of flocks of foraging birds [??] Quality changed frtom ~2-3 to 2-3 (maybe 2 in places) - CAM - 17 February 2005]. Habitat: Pond, Spit.
