Media notes
Recorded in somewhat windy conditions. This was the most common Cassin's finch sound I heard at this location: they weren't singing at all. Other species such as house wren, hairy woodpecker, and western bluebird are audible in the background. Edits: trimmed and normalized to -3 dB.
Observation details
Very vocal. Seen in the trees, in flight, on the road drinking from the trickle of water that crossed it. There was a mixture of adult males and female-types.
