Observation details
Rare: On state review list, as I suppose they're fairly hard to come by in these waters. Three small, tern-like jaegers with thin wings and long tails, overall dark appearing when originally seen, but photos seem to show all three color morphs; light, intermediate, and dark, meaning they are all pretty young, likely hatched last year. Observed behavior of picking food from the rough water convergence at the Northeastern point aka Seal Ledges. Stayed in view for a good four minutes feeding and flying around.
