Observation details
Possibly continuing from the June sighting. Very faint cuh-cuh-cuh cuh-cuh-cuh-cuh-cuh-cuh heard from reedy marsh at the northernmost edge of the rail fields. Again, a very poor cell phone recording has been obtained, which I will attempt to process tonight into something in which the bittern can be heard over the racket of red-winged blackbirds, bugs, and frogs. EDIT: The little snippet of audio attached was all that was salvageable. Run through a low pass filter to try to remove some bug and other noises, raised volume, and panned more to the right, as the left was mostly just extraneous noise.
