Media notes
ML: Subject changed from Aves sp. to Nigrita canicapillus as per James Bradley. -Matt Medler, 22 February 2023. NOTES: This bird was 9-10m up in canopy over my head. The bird jumped about and I could see that it was very small, dark black (at least underneath). I could not get a good look at the eye color. Distinctive high-pitched, shrill, happy song.; possibly a dusky-crested flycatcher (Trochocercus nigromitratus)?. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
