Observation details
Continuing bird, first seen by the PAS group led by Lance Benner on Saturday, April 14. First detected by it's call, about 200 yards east of Bob's Gap Road and 100 yards south of Holcomb Ridge Road. The bird eventually came within 20 yards of Holcomb Ridge Road, singing often and giving good looks. Recordings and photos will be posted. It had a very light underside and was darker gray above, with a prominent eye-ring and vireo shaped bill, There was a slight hint of a wing-bar. It was seen at one time associating with a Cassin's Vireo in the same bush.
