NOTES: This monkey was 15-20m up in a tree approximately 15m away from me. It was looking at me throughout most of the cut and was probably reacting to my presence. Then it moved off while continuing to vocalize; There is some controversy over whether both the Black Mangabee (aterrimus) and the Grey-Cheeked Mangabee (albigena) occur in this forest. And if only one occurs then which is it. I had a great look at this monkey - it had a black hairless face and was basically black all over. There were no lighter facial tufts but the hair on the back and shoulders was slightly longer/greyer (not contrasting significantly with the color of the rest of its body). Other Behaviors: Emit Alarm. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Swamp.
