Media notes
Begging calls from a juvenile, along with typical calls from either parent.
Observation details
Two singing males on adjacent territories, one of which was mated and had a single juvenile. Yellow warblers with long tails with white outer tail feathers, green backs, and dark wings. Males with black throats and crowns, females with slightly contrasting dark crowns. I could not sex the lone juvenile, although I honestly do not remember whether they can even be sexed in juvenile plumage. Several recordings obtained over the past few days, including songs (both primarily and alternate) from both males, begging calls from the juvenile, and tink calls from both the mated male and female. Two recordings are already on Xeno Canto, and I will add more to this checklist later.
