Observation details
Heard, seen by MOB. Reported yesterday by Patrick C. Walking to the observation platform on Day Rd (to east of the main center), I heard a singing wren in tall grass on the south side of road. Others on platform confirmed it was the male sedge wren. The female was seen flying back and forth to suspected nest site on north side of road. Eventually she landed in grass beside the road, emerged to land on the road, and then quickly joined the singing male. She returned later to continue the repeated flights to service the nest.
