NOTES: (Breeding Status: checked not territorial? and breeding; Sound Delivery Rate: high, agitated; General Climate: arid; Cover Density: sparse; Parabola: no reflector, used direct mike at nest hole) Nest hole in log limb about 1.5m above ground level. This log, with limb still attached and pointing upward, was felled and lying in a log collection clearing beside the road. [These are the cricket-like "churrs" described in BNA as the Begging Calls of nestlings, probably about one week of age (following BNA). Note that the calls recorded here are very different than those in LNS #106545, recorded at this same nest about 10 days later. Quality added (1) - CAM - 20 April 2005]. Sound stimulation was (other): microphone at hole. Other Behaviors: Beg, Social Context: Family. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Coniferous Forest.
