Observation details
Continuing rarity. Bird was heard singing frequently but stayed down low in the brush and only showed itself for brief glimpses as it popped up to bug catch or relocated. I suspect that it was staying low and out of sight due to the cool gloomy weather keeping the bugs down. I was not fast enough to get photos. Looked very similar to Willow Flycatcher. Song was distinctly different — fee-be vs fitz-bew of the WIFL. See attached audio recording. I have more recordings of the bird if needed.
