Observation details

Ohio life bird. Successful second attempt of the night for this bird. While walking down Krause, not too far from the parking lot, I heard the meadowlark singing first then saw it on the fifth pole from the parking lot on the north side of the road. We watched it sing for multiple minutes until it flew down to the south side of the road into the crop field. It sang a couple times from there, then flew back up to the wire on the south side of the road and continued to sing. Great find by Michael and Dawn Zook, which was on the 23rd, but was reported on the 24th by Trevor Zook.
