Observation details
(changed to Alder/Willow due to expert questioning the bird's calls and song). Great find by Gary and Mike. Bird heard immediately when I exited vehicle on paved road just off hwy 20. This paved road was the best place to view bird while I was there. Bird traveled a circuit that included both sides of paved road, singing and calling constantly. At one point chased by WIFL. Distinctive song (recorded), seemed paler overall than Willow, with lots of gray on head with small eye-ring, white wing-bars, long primary projections. Skulky at times, but still singing while skulking. Posed in open every once in a while.
