Media notes
NOTES: "kibita-kibita" song type from canopy of live oak. LNS: The recordist originally identified this as Baeolophus bicolor, but also noted: "cannot rule out "Black-crested" form." With the elevation of B. atricristatus to a full species, the identification of this recording was revisited with the recordist. Based on his experience with both species in Texas, his inclination now is that this is B. atricristatus, but with only 60% confidence in this identification. The recording is therefore left as Baeolophus sp. -Matt Medler, 24 Nov 2009. ML: Subject changed from Baeolophus sp. to Baeolophus bicolor/atricristatus. -Matt Medler, 28 June 2015. Other Behaviors: Court, Advertise. Habitat: River, Riparian.
