The bird was generally a warm brown color on the back and a light color on the under parts (see photos). The head, nape, back, upper tail coverts, and tail were all this warm rusty brown (Image 3). The chin, throat, breast, belly, and under tail coverts were mostly light in color with some dark barring seen on the flanks (not visible in the photos). The bird had a light eye ring with a dark ‘mask’ extending behind the eye. The ‘cheeks’ below the eye and dark eye line were light in color (Image 2). The bill was thick with a slight hook at the tip that is not real clear in these poor quality photos. The bill was generally dark with a pinkish area near the base of the lower mandible (Image 3).
