Observation details
Today was really special. Right in my back yard, this morning i came downstairs and noticed several birds was mobbing something, so i ran back to get my binocular to have a better look. To my surprise was this amazing Oilbird roosting in one of the trees... This is the first record for me in Linden. I've seen them in the Iwokrama before but not here in Linden ever. I have no idea where this bird came from because there is no nearby habitat that suits this species, like a cave for example. I know Oilbird normally fly very far when feeding so i believe this is what happened in this case. So great to see such a rare bird today.
