Bird with light, fluffy nesting material sitting on vehicle, working up the courage to visit the nest, which (surprisingly) turned out to be in the building's rafters. Photo may not be used for commercial purposes without consent of The Nature Conservancy.
Observation details
One was building a nest in the rafters of one of the buildings. Yesterday I saw what was most likely the same bird gathering fibers and hairs from a coir doormat outside one of the nearby buildings.
