Media notes
There is a known breeding population of this species in the eastern section of the Lindsay-Parsons Biodiversity Preserve, but this individual marked the first time that this species was noted in this westernmost section of the preserve. At the date of this recording, this individual had been singing for over a week, with no sign of a second individual. The bird sang from treetops along the banks of a heavily wooded ravine dominated by deciduous trees, but with a few hemlocks mixed in. [This is mostly song, but there are also some soft "chip" calls (1:25-1:33). Quality added (2-1, 1-2 - due mostly to water noise) - CAM - 6 January 2005]. Habitat: Forest, Creek.
