Eastern heron nest with five juveniles
Observation details
Two nests in large spruce trees along Bear Creek, this is the second year these nests have been used. Today we saw five juveniles in the eastern nest and one adult flying away as we approached, and four juveniles in the western nest with one adult that stayed at the nest while we were there.
