Media notes

Calls from an adult male along the shore of the spit in response to whistled imitation. After each imitation the bird would give anywhere from one to five or more calls, including occasionally softer, high-pitched metallic twittering calls, as at 1:14 and 2:45. Many of the calls less fluid than normal, with marked voicebreaks. Best section starts around 1:49.
