NOTES: A-3 cuts- Natural and respones to playbackCut 1- naturalCut 2- response to playback of Cut 1Cut 3- Response to playback of Cut 2Good study, about four types of sounds in total. Serranía Cuchilla is one of 7 serranías inside Pilón Lajas Biosphere Reserve. It is 10 km from Serranía Pilón the richest serranía in the reserve and also the first of the Eastern Andean foothills. The tropical forest peaks at 900 to 1000m, steap edged, well drained soils, but not a fully old growth as the soils and slopes cannot support truly large trees. High forest turnover and the area has been selectively logged for two large tree species. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Response to playback: Different song. Habitat: Forest, Rainforest, Montane Grassland, Scrub.
