Observation details
Groups of two, one, and then three all flying in a northwesterly direction over the boat near Lausen Sea Mount in the vicinity of 33.483669, -118.031315. All six flew over within a 5-10 minute window. These were all dark swifts, relatively large in size, and the one I (TAB) saw well had a notched tail. They seemed to be flapping more than usual, but not as rapidly as in Vaux's Swifts. These were county birds for everyone on the boat except for Curtis, which I know because he mentioned it several times.
