Observation details
Because this sighting was identified as a rare species because of date and location the following is provided. Observed three Tundra Swans in Little Salmon River (photos attached). Had good view of swans, and even though two of the swans did not have yellow lore, still felt all swans were Tundra. The eyes stood out more on swans observed (Tundra Swan characteristic), compared to Trumpeter Swan. It appeared that swans observed had a more concave bill (Tundra Swan characteristic) compared to relatively straight bill that is characteristic of Trumpeter Swan.
