Series of soft, ascending whistles; distant at first several cuts, various distances. Location: several km from north bank of Rio Tahuamanu; San Sebastian has an extensive trail system - a grid cut at 100 meter intervals over a 150 hectare study area that extends in all directions from camp. Areas to N, W and S of camp are on well-drained terrace; areas to SE are lower and wetter. Bamboo occurs in small patches to NW and in more extensive areas just to the S of camp. ML: High-pass filter at 250 Hz applied.
